This Privacy Policy explains how Type 5 Marketing LLC("we," "us") collects and uses information when you visit The Outside Report (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address and message you submit so we can respond. We use this only to reply to you and do not sell it.
  • Automatically collected usage data.Like most websites, we collect standard analytics data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring site — to understand how the Site is used and improve it.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic. It sets cookies and collects usage data as described above; IP addresses are anonymized. We may also use privacy-friendly analytics provided by our hosting platform. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work.

Affiliate cookies

The Outside Report participates in affiliate programs (see our affiliate disclosure). When you click an outbound link to a retail partner such as Amazon or a CJ Affiliate merchant, that retailer may set a cookie so any resulting purchase is credited to us. These cookies are set by the retailer under their own privacy policies, not by us, and they do not add any cost to your purchase.

How we use information

  • To respond to your messages and requests.
  • To operate, analyze and improve the Site.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Site (for example, our email/hosting and analytics providers) and only as needed for them to perform that service, or when required by law.

Your choices

You can decline or delete cookies in your browser, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and ask us to delete any message data you've sent us by emailing contact@theoutsidereport.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (for example under the GDPR or CCPA); contact us to exercise them.

Children

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
